The Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation (CTTF) conducted the prestigious Commonwealth Schools Table Tennis Championship, South Asia - India Region in New Delhi from the 28th, August to 1st September, 2023.

Very happy to share that our School SRCS stood 3rd position in this championship. Many competent teams having National Rank players from Lucknow, Delhi, Gaziabad, Agra participated in this prestigious competition and winning a position amongst them is an achievement. Special mention of students Vanya Bansal class 10, Kuhu Upadhyay, Shreya Agrarwal, Shuhani Agarwal of Class 9 who participated with zeal and commitment and their Coach Mr Saurav Rawat who trained them well. Three Cheers for SRCS!

A delightful cricket encounter unfolded between Shri Ram Centennial School and Jim Corbett Public School, coinciding with the celebration of National Sports Day. SRCS Sports News - November 2021

Now that the school has opened in the offline mode for all the Students , we are happy to inform you that our participation in various competitions has begun.

Aditya Bajpai of CL 4 B has won a Bronze Medal in the Regional Taekwando Championship.

Vaanya Bansal of class 8 B has won the silver medal in the Sansad Khel Spardha held at Eklavya Stadium.

Shashank Singh of 9 A and Sumit Chahar of 9 B participated in the Sansad Khel Spardha .

The Inter-House Basketball Tournament (Girls) for classes IX to XII was held at the school ground today during school hours. 
The teams were cheered by the students of classes VI to XII. 
It was a great moment for the participants, students and teachers of the school since this was the first match conducted after almost a year since Covid forced schools to function online.
The Green House emerged as the winner of the Tournament. The Runner Up was Red House. 
We look forward to many such Inter- House events in future.

First-of-its-kind Social Science Laboratory of Shri Ram Centennial School, Dayalbagh, Agra was launched on 9th October 2021 in a grand ceremony on the school campus.

The lab was inaugurated by the Guests of Honour, the parents of the toppers of the Three Streams of class XII.

The event was blessed by honorable Chairman Dr. Subodh Kumar Gupta, Chairperson Mrs. Satyawati Gupta, Principal Dr. Sanjiv M. Lyall, Director Academics Dr. Vandana Ghosh, Coordinators Dr. Pooja Prakash, Ms. Nidhi Joshi, and Ms. Soni Sachdeva, teachers, parents, and students.

Senior Section Coordinator Dr. Pooja Prakash remarked that the Lab has been divided into various zones as Social Science has a very wide spectrum.

Head of the Social Science Department, Ms. Richa Sinha,stated that each and every sunboard, model, equipment, and furniture in this room has been minutely designed and carefully arranged by the Department members and students.

The contribution of faculty members Dr. Rajni, Ms. Jayati, Ms. Padmini, Ms. Palak, Ms. Anshu, Ms. Bahar, and Ms. Sakshi has been noteworthy.

The Lab has added another feather to the crown of SRCS.

Today SRCS inaugurated Science and Math Lab, exclusively for Primary students (Classes 2 to 5)

It is a very significant day for SRCS.

To provide our young SRCSians, hands on experience about the Mathematical concepts, concepts related to Science.

This wonderful room will give our young ones the opportunity of learning by doing and exploring. This very lab will support them to understand the complex and develop more curiosity.

We are sharing with you a few memorable moments of the day captured during the ceremony.

The 8th Investiture Ceremony of Shri Ram Centennial School, Dayalbagh, Agra for the academic session 2021-22 was held with great fervour in a special ceremony at the school auditorium on the 22nd of July 2021. The Investiture Ceremony is not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision-making skills, communication, and teamwork. The school Prefectorial Board was formed after rigorous scrutiny, screening, and interview to instill in the young leaders a sense of duty and leadership. The event was presided over by Honourable Chairman Sir - Dr. Subodh Kumar Gupta, Honourable Chairperson Ma’am-Smt. Satyawati Devi, Director Academics - Dr. Vandana Ghosh, Pre-School Principal - Ms. Deepa Arya, Principal Sir - Dr. Sanjiv M. Lyall, Senior Section Coordinator -Dr. Pooja Prakash, Primary Section Coordinator - Ms. Nidhi Joshi, Pre- Primary Section Coordinator- Ms. Soni Sachdeva, parents, teachers, and students. The ceremony began with the school song and the lighting of the lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana. Chairman Sir & Chairperson Ma'am gave their blessings to the Students and motivated them to excel in life. Senior School Coordinator Dr. Pooja Prakash delivered a speech on Vision Talk on Leadership to inspire young leaders to action. She congratulated the newly appointed school Prefectorial Board for their preparedness to take responsibilities and also advised them to use these opportunities and balance them well with academics to excel in both. Director Academics, Dr. Vandana Ghosh announced the Roles and Responsibilities of the Cabinet Members which was followed by the Oath Taking of the Student Council Members. The Class Monitors, Vice Monitors, and Class Proctors of classes VI to XII pledged their allegiance and responsibility towards the well-being of the institution. The Principal, Dr. Sanjiv Lyall congratulated the young leaders and exhorted them to uphold the values of the school. The ceremony was concluded with the National Anthem.

The Enthusia -Dance Club conducted a Virtual Version Inter - House Solo Dance Competition which was held on 22nd April 2021, Thursday for classes 9,10 &12 .The Competition exhibited high energy as our dancers linked all the steps very enthusiastically.

It was an initiative to provide a virtual platform to the kids to showcase their dancing skills. 
The judgement was done based on choreography, creativity ,expression,theme & the overall impact.

The Competition was judged by Mr. Ajay Singh ,well known Western Dance Instructor .

To prove this true SRCS provided a rocking platform of "Dancepiration 2021, Series 1 - Virtual Intra - Class Solo Dance Competition"for Grade 2 to 5 .All four days the children performed live from home .

Keeping the same thought in mind we are keeping our students engaged in some creative drawings. Here we are sharing with you the creative work of the SRCS students.

The greatest love on Earth is the love of a Mother.

In honour of all the marvellous Mom's, the Children of SRCS make enthusiastic efforts to make the Mother 's day special with the help of their Teachers.

Various activities likes card making, "Know your Mother Game" were organized in honour of their selfless love and affection.

On 6th April 2021, the Journalism Club of Shri Ram Centennial School hosted an inter-house journalism competition titled ‘News hour @ 9’ for classes IX and X. 

The session was presided over by Dr. Sanjeev M Lyall, the principal of Shri Ram Centennial School, Dr. Vandana Ghosh, Director Academics of SRCS, and Dr. Pooja Prakash, Senior Coordinator of SRCS. Conducted by Sara Kaushal and Aditya Bose of class IX-A, it had Divyanshi Verma, Ishant Singh, Saksham Kashiwal, Kavya Singhal, Shreya, Aryan Aggarwal, and Shubh Singhal as participants. 

Each participant presented a two-minute capsule on the news making headlines in the present day. The competition was a fusion of the participants appreciating each other, giving brilliant performances, and enjoying themselves thoroughly. 

The meeting ended with fruitful feedbacks by Mr. Sanjeev Lyall and Dr. Vandana Ghosh, a heartwarming vote of thanks by Sara, and smiling faces.

Ms. Sneha Jain made the Students of class -5 participate in a Scholastic Activity to make the students understand the concept of Day and Night . Also how the Latitudes and Longitudes help in locating places on the Earth was explained through the models.

Basant Panchami, also known as Saraswati Puja, is celebrated every year on Panchami of Magh month Shukla Paksha.
The color Yellow is considered to be of special importance on the day. The colour symbolizes that everyone should become bright and sharp like the sun.

The youth of tomorrow offering flowers to Maa Saraswati.. A little effort by the KG kids to embark the rich cultural of our country.

We at SRCS encourage and recognize good handwriting skills, therefore, an Intra- class English Handwriting Competition was organized in our school for all the Children of class 1 on 25th January 2020.
The objective of the competition was to emphasize the importance of
neat handwriting and to improve the calligraphy skills.
The closely contested competition was a difficult task to be judged by our Teachers.
It bought out the best in our Children.

Today the Social Science Department at SRCS celebrated Netaji's 125th birth anniversary to commemorate his contribution to India's struggle for independence, whose defiant patriotism made him an unmatched Hero in India.

His birthday, 23rd January has been declared as the"Parakram Diwas" by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji.

Here are a few glimpses of today's celebration in class VI conducted by Ms. Padmini Jaiswal.

Shri Ram Centennial School, Agra, Uttar Pradesh was awarded the prestigious Micro Innovation Award 2020 by National Independent Schools Alliance, India (NISA) in appreciation for the commendable contribution made in imparting quality education during Covid-19 lockdown.

Shri Ram Centennial School bagged the 12th Rank for its twin projects:
1. Developing Covid Safety Habits
2. Establishing effective communication with parents during lockdown

The Projects were successfully implemented and created greater awareness amongst the students and parents to stay safe during the Pandemic. On the other hand the school Management with the help of its competent teaching faculty introduced online classes (for both academic and extra curricular activities) through Zoom Online Meeting from the month of April, thus providing an opportunity to the students to continue imbibing knowledge from the safety of their homes. The teaching staff and Management also established a fruitful communication chain with the parents during the pandemic and lockdown.

The Project Supervisors Mrs. Anshu Gaur and Mr. Yagyesh Nath did a commendable job under the leadership of Senior School Coordinator Dr. Pooja Prakash and the support of the entire teaching fraternity. Principal Dr. Sanjiv M. Lyall, Director (Academics) Dr.Vandana Ghosh, Ms.Nidhi Joshi ( Coordinator Primary wing) and Ms. Soni Sachdeva ( Coordinator Pre-Primary wing) also provided their valuable support and guidance for the successful implementation of the projects. It is indeed a proud moment for the SRCS family.

Chairman Dr. Subodh Kumar Gupta expressed his appreciation for all associated with the SRCS family including teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, technical staff and management for their collective effort towards successfully implementing and running the projects.
